    MTR Madras Sambar Powder

    Delight your tastebuds with this new variant of Sambar with an extra spice. An everyday favourite of a Tamil Nadu household!

    Directions to use MTR Madras Sambar Powder :

    • Cook 250g of vegetables of your choice. Keep aside.
    • Cook 2 1/2 tbsp (450g) of toor dal in 500ml of water with 1/2 tsp cooking oil and a pinch of turmeric.
    • Grind 2 1/2 tsp (12g) of MTR Madras Sambhar Powder with grated coconut and a little jaggery (if desired).
    • Mix this with a cooked dal.
    • Add cooked vegetables, tamarind extract and salt to taste. Boil for 5 minutes.
    • Prepare the seasoning of 1/2 tsp mustard and curry leaves in 1/2 tsp of cooking oil. Add to Sambar.

    Tasty Tip : 
    Garnish it with finely chopped coriander leaves and enjoy as a soup or with rice.

    Coriander, rice flour, red chilli, red gram dal, cumin, black pepper, fenugreek, turmeric
